IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directions: Compensation Award Committee meeting held at Central Police Office
IGP Punjab issued another 11 lakh rupees for health welfare expenses of police employees serving in different districts.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a meeting of the Compensation Award Committee of the Welfare Branch was held at the Central Police Office. In the meeting, after the scrutiny 06 cases of police employees were approved for provision of medical financial assistance, on which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued orders to release funds for the treatment of these police employees serving in different districts.
According to the details, three and a half lakh rupees were released to the injured Constable Muhammad Ali of Sargodha for medical expenses. Two and a half lakh rupees were given to the injured head constable Muhammad Aftab of Sheikhupura police for treatment. PHP Lahore Ghazi ASI Amjad Naseer was given Rs. 02 lakh for medical expenses. DG Khan Police's Ghazi Constable Muhammad Hashim was given Rs. 01 lakh for medical expenses, whereas the Ghazi ASI Ameer Ali of PTS Farooqabad and Ghazi Constable Muhammad Yaqoob of Bahawalnagar police were given Rs. 01 lakh each for treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that early rehabilitation of brave and diligent officials injured in the line of duty is the first priority and the department will continue all possible cooperation in this regard. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that all senior officers should keep in close contact with Ghazi officials of their districts so that they do not face any problem in treatment and early rehabilitation.
