Punjab Police's big success: Another A category proclaimed offender wanted in murder case arrested from Baku Azerbaijan

The total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad this year has reached 29:  spokesman of Punjab Police

Under the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police's crackdown is continuing to arrest the fugitives and proclaimed offenders residing abroad, in continuation of which, Punjab Police team has achieved another success and has arrested another dangerous proclaimed offender from Baku, Azerbaijan. According to the details, proclaimed offender Zeeshan Nawaz murdered advocate Sajid Mehmood Dhadra in the limits of police station Kotwali Sialkot in 2019. Special Operations Cell, Punjab Police traced and arrested the proclaimed offender in Baku, Azerbaijan with the assistance of Interpol. After completing the legal and diplomatic procedures, A police team under the leadership of Inspector Khalid Nawaz Waryah, is extraditing the accused. Police team of special operations cell left from Baku to Lahore in the evening and will reach Lahore Airport at 1 o'clock tonight. Spokesman Punjab Police said that the total number of criminals arrested from abroad this year has reached 29.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the RPO Gujranwala Tayyab Hafeez Cheema and police team for arresting the dangerous criminal from abroad. IG Punjab said that the accused will be punished after completing the legal process. IG Punjab directed that with the cooperation of Interpol, FIA, and other agencies, the process of arresting and bringing back the proclaimed offenders should be continued and the culprits should be punished.
