Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has awarded a letter of appreciation to SP Irtaza Komail for his unparalleled display of courage and commitment in the line of duty. In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar encouraged SP Irtaza Komail with a letter of appreciation. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that SP Irtaza Komail has shown excellent performance in saving the woman from the angry mob in the Ichra incident. Dr. Usman Anwar said that during the incident of Ichra, the police team saved the life of not only one person, but the entire humanity, the performance of the Punjab Police with its brave and timely action was greatly appreciated at the national and international level. IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the process of encouraging the officers and officials who have shown excellent performance while protecting the lives and properties of the citizens will be continued at all levels. Additional IG Establishment Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Additional IG IAB Imran Mehmood, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, AIG Discipline Asif Amin were present on the occasion.
