Funds of more than 08 lakh rupees have been released for the medical support of officials serving in different districts

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken priority measures for the health welfare of police force and their families, in continuation of which more than 08 lakh rupees funds were released for the medical assistance of employees of various districts including Lahore. According to the details, constable Badal Aslam of Multan was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife. Pakpattan police's DSP Aftab Ahmed Mohal was given Rs 250,000 for the treatment of arm fracture. Constable Liaqat Ali of Okara was given Rs. 01 lakh for the treatment of cancer disease. 01 lakh rupees were given for the treatment of Constable Muhammad Khubeb of Lahore Police. Retired DIG Investigation Punjab Dr. Masood Saleem was given 70 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife and 62 thousand rupees for his kidney treatment. Medical Financial Assistance Committee had approved the release of funds for the above mentioned cases. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that best health welfare of police employees and their families is the first priority, in this regard, welfare of the force will continue with police funds and income from welfare sources.
