Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Nishtar Hospital Multan, IG Punjab inquired about the health of injured Ghazi officials of the attack on Jhangi (Hazrat Umar Farooq) check post in Dera Ghazi Khan. IG Punjab visited the under treatment officials, inquired about their well-being and prayed for their speedy recovery. IG Punjab paid tribute to the bravery of the officials. IG Punjab directed that all Ghazi officials under treatment should be provided with the best treatment facilities. IG Punjab said that our soldiers have made us proud by repelling the terrorists once again. He presented tributes to the brave policemen for repelling the attack and terrorists. IG Punjab further said that brave officials of Punjab police are our pride, they do not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the protection of the lives and properties of the citizens. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the Punjab Police is fully prepared to deal with any kind of terrorism and will destroy the nefarious intentions of the terrorists.
Spokesman of Punjab Police said that 07 policemen were injured in the terrorist attack on Jhangi (Hazrat Umar Farooq) check post.03 officials belonging to Elite Force Multan who are undergoing treatment at Nishtar Hospital. ASI Imran, Constable Shahid Manzoor and Muhammad Tariq are among the under-treated youths. Additional IG South Punjab Muhammad Kamran Khan, Commissioner Multan Maryam Khan, MD Safe City Authorities DIG Muhammad Ahsan Younas, RPO Multan Captain (retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhary, CPO Multan Sadiq Ali and SSP Operations Multan, Arslan Zahid was accompanied by IG Punjab.
