LAHORE:Chowki Saggian Police has arrested a suspect who had shot dead a man in Gujranwala seven years back in front of his father for marrying his daughter. The arrested suspect has been identified as Ilyas. He was frustrated because a man had contracted love marriage with his daughter. He was so annoyed that he went to see the victim at his house in Gujranwala and shot him dead in front of his father. The suspect afterwards had fled from the scene. He was in hiding for the last seven years until Chowki Saggian Police busted him. Police said that they were investigating the matter and would hand over the suspect to the police concerned after completion of legal formalities.
